Edison's Co. - From Berkeley to Asia

In 2015, a design-focused coding firm known as Edison's Co. based itself in Berkeley, California. The company got its name from renowned inventor Thomas Edison and his continuous improvement of the lightbulb design. Like Edison, the company plans to bring businesses to the next level through iterations, design, and strategy. 

In 2022, Edison's Co. shifted its focus back to Asia with the goal of developing towards Web 3.0. It cooperated with related companies, industries, and startups with a range of services that included social media strategy, content automation, global PR, and startup idea validation. 

The Roots of Edison's Co. 

The primary driving force behind Edison's Co is the vision to be a world-renowned social media agency. The first step to building this reputation was establishing roots in Silicon Valley - the Mecca for tech startups. Being based in Berkeley meant being within close proximity to well-known companies such as Google, Apple, and Facebook. It also allowed us to draw upon the wealth of resources available at UC Berkeley - one of the best public universities in the world. 

The Shift to Asia 

However, in order to truly make an impact on a global scale, we needed to move beyond Silicon Valley and establish ourselves in Asia - one of the most populous continents in the world with a burgeoning tech industry. 

Our current base in Taiwan provides us with easier access to Asian markets and allows us to cooperate more closely with local startups and corporations who are at the forefront of cutting-edge technology trends. What's more, Taiwan itself is no slouch when it comes to technology; it is ranked 5th globally in terms of innovation according to the 2018 Bloomberg Innovation Index.

Edison's Co.'s move back to Asia signals a new chapter in our quest to become a leading social media agency on a global scale. Our shiftin focus will allow us to better serve our clients by providing them with insights into some of the most important markets in the world.
